Be Strong-A-Thon uses a web-based fundraising system that makes it fun and easy to request pledges online from relatives and close family friends.
Follow these 4 easy steps to achieve your fundraising goals.
On the home page, enter your Student Access Code. You can find your student access code on your Be Strong-A-Thon information sheet.
On the Registration Page select "First Time? Register Here" Enter parent information, then add ALL students participating in this event from your family. Parents will receive a confirmation email with the registration information and password. Next, upload a photo of your child that will appear on all pledge emails. Grandma and Grandpa love to see your picture, so pick a good one!
Send Pledge Emails to Family and Friends. To do this, you simply select the "Enter Family and Friends" tab and then enter each person's name and email address.
You can easily share the Be Strong-A-Thon information on your social media. Simply select the "Contact Using Social Media" tab. Social Media is the Key that unlocks the door to a flood of pledges! Each new pledge will earn additional prizes for the student. That's it. Easy!
Our goal is to have every student generate at least $100 in total donations.
Hello, I am calling for (name) . Is (he or she) available? Thank you.
Hi (name) , this is (student name) . How are you today?
I'm calling to tell you about a fundraiser we are having at my school. I will be exercising and reading to raise money for our school. I'm going to try my best to exercise and read between 100 and 150 minutes. You can either make a pledge for every minute I exercise and read or enter a flat donation amount.
(name) , will you please sponsor me for my school's fundraiser?
Great! Thank you so much.
May I please get your email address so I can send you an easy pledge request email?
At the bottom of the email just select the "Click here to sponsor me" tab and follow the easy steps to sponsor me. After the fundraising event, I'll send you another email letting you know how many minutes I exercised and read.
Thank you so much for helping my school. Have a great day!
